A card from Barcelona

Hi Myriam! How are you?
I feel so happy 'cause I'm in Barcelona with my class for a five-day school trip.
Barcelona is the capital city of Cataluna and it's really wonderful. People are nice and it's fascinating walking along the "Ramblas", full of shops and steet markets with very nice things.
In the Ramblas there are street performers of all sorts, some of them sing, others paint, others perform with puppets, others play different musical instruments.
In this postcard you can see one of the most important monuments in Barcelona, the "Sagrada Familia" by the most famous architect from Cataluna, Gaudì. who never finished it. The towers are so high and the church so stately! Unfortunately I couldn't go inside the church because our tour wasn't very well organised and we diddn't have enough time, so I hope I can come here again.
I want to tell you aobut a very big park, also designed by Gaudì. We had an amazing view of the city from a terrace in this garden. You can see that Barcelona is really different from other cities. The colours are wonderfully bright.
I'm really enjoying myself with my friends. I only wish you were here with me.
